Idea Cellular has launched their version of USB wireless internet connection in Mumbai. The connection is for both prepaid as well as postpaid users of the state. The actual speed of the USB connection has not been announced yet.
The company has revealed the plans for the pre paid connection only. For starters, the company has launched an introductory offer by providing a free download data worth 50MB and if the limit increases, an additional of 1 paise/10KB will be levied. As far as the avid net surfers, are concerned, Idea has come come up with an unlimited plan that is geared up with a daily charge of Rs. 30.
In addition to the net connection services, the USB connection also allows users interchange SMSes on their computers as well. The USB data card is priced at Rs. 2,490.
