Sony has announced that it will reduce the price of 40 GB PS3, which is equipped with Blu-ray drive, 40 GB hard drive, wi-fi and HDMI connectivity support. New cost of the PS3 will be Rs. 22,990, which is Rs. 2000 less than the original price. In Christmas time the company is also gifting a free game with the product.
Those who still are unaware of the features of PS3 must note that:
- PS3s heart is the cell broadband engine processor.
- It has Blu-ray device.
- 40GB hard drive to store all the saved games and downloaded content.
Sony is expecting that a price reduction will increase the sales of PS3 and the included free game will insist gamers to start gaming right away.
