Duracell Launches USB Charger for Mobile Devices


Duracell has tried to remove the gap between mobile devices and automobile technology by introducing new Duracell USB charger and a USB charging port for charging different mobile devices. You can plug this port into the DC socket of the car along with three different connectors that come with Duracell My Pocket Charger. It will deliver a 5 volt DC power for charing mobile devices, i pods, i phones and other devices that could fit into it.

Here are some features of the Duracell USB charger:

  • It converts DC outlet into a USB opening. The blue light of the charger indicates the charging of device.
  • It is one of the simplest and smallest USB charging that fits into all kinds of cars.

Rick June, Duracell Vice President and General Manager, North America said, “Everyone wants their electronic gadgets to get charged easily and last a little longer. The Duracell My Pocket Charger and USB Charger are meant to provide personal power insurance to every user. These portable devices give a freedom to use your gadgets for work, communication and entertainment at any location”.

Three different connectors come with the charger for mini USB, micro USB and iPhone & other devices like PDA, mobile phone, MP3 player and iPod. The charger is very soon to be out in market and at special retail outlets across the U.S. the company has not announced the prices yet.
