Canon Hits the Market With Six New Power Shot Cameras

Canon has launched six new PowerShot cameras to offer diverse photographic experience to the users. The new range of Canon comprises of one camera from G-series PowerShot, two in the lightweight category compact digital cameras and three from the ELPH line.

These new and sophisticated cameras include models such as Canon PowerShot G11, PowerShot S90, PowerShot SX20 IS, SD940 IS Digital ELPH, PowerShot SX120 IS and PowerShot SD980 IS Cameras.

This is quite interesting that all of the above models feature Optical Image Stabilization and use the DIGIC 4 Image Processor to give the users high level of performance and enhanced signal processing speed with superb image quality. The new G-series comes with 2.8-inch vari-angle PureColor System LCD, which is meant for easier on-camera previewing and reviewing of images from different angels.

The G11 has been designed for the individuals looking for a pocket-sized camera with SLR functionality. According to Canon, this is especially meant for those who love capturing landscapes and professional portraits. This device with its 10.0 mega pixel High Sensitivity System, 5x Optical Zoom lens along with Optical Image Stabilization is aimed to give you crystal clear images.

These new cameras come with ‘Smart AUTO technology’ that tracks moving faces. Further they have 22 different shooting situations by identifying the surroundings to ensure proper lighting and focus.
