Samsung Mobile has launched the INNOV8 in the Indian market. The ultimate entertainment mobile is supposed to strengthen the company’s existing multimedia phone portfolio in the Indian market.
The Country Head of Samsung Mobile, Sunil Dutt, was quoted as saying, “Samsung Innov8 is made for users who want to enjoy the best possible multimedia entertainment with their mobile phone. With the 8-megapixel camera, pre-embedded 3D games, high speed data connections and much more, users can experience the true benefits of mobile entertainment.”
The 2.8 inch, 16M color LCS, INNOV8 is Samsung’s first 8-megapixel camera phone and with imaging applications such as smile shot, blink shot and face recognition, the phone sure packs a punch or two. Moreover, it also gives the users an option to personalize and edit their photos, videos and music with it’s Movie Maker and Story Board applications. The digital photo frame of the same also enables a user to display images as per wishes.
INNOV8 features a 32GB memory (16GB Internal and 16GB MicroSD Card), that provides ample content storage space. The handset supports a wide range of video player formats, such as DivX, WMV, Real Player and MPEG4. Moreover, the set’s Audio-Visual capabilities are further enhanced with Samsung DNSe 2.0 audio engine.
The optical mouse and the 4-way navigation keys also enable a user to enjoy a PC like browsing experience. Additional features, such as HSDPA high speed Internet, Wi-Fi and EDGE/GPRS connectivity and GPS technology, makes the INNOV8 a technological powerhouse. The INNOV8 sports Bluetooth with an A2DP profile and is equipped with GPS technology, that offers navigation and geo-tagging services.
The handset runs on a Symbian Operating System V9.3, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, and is being launched with preloaded extras, such as two ‘Aamir Khan’ movies and two games, namely Asphalt and FIFA 08.
