JVC Enters the Blu-Ray Player Segment with XV-BP11

JVC has made entry into the Blu-ray player market in the U.S. Though the brand is not fully known in India, but it has got tremendous potential to give tough competition in the U.S. The company has introduced its first player the , a budget player for the U.S buyers.

We can’t call JVC XV-BP11 a feature-packed Blu-ray player because it only has Blu-ray Profile 1.1, that will not enable you to take advantage of Internet. Here are some more features of the product:

  • It has an ultra-thin make that demands for less space.
  • Supports most of the multimedia formats like JPEG, AVCHD, WMV, WMA, Dolby Digital, MP3, • Dolby Digital plus, Dolby True HD, DTS and DTS HD Master Audio/essential.

You can play BD-Rom, DVD-R/RW, BD-R/RE, DVD+R/RW, DVD-Video, Audio CD and CD-R/RW discs on the player.

While targeting the middle-class buyers segment, JVC had priced the XV-BP11 Blu-Ray player at an approximate price of Rs. 9,000.
