Idea has launched its 3G enabled Android smartphone in Indian market. The dual SIM phone sports a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. It features a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash on the back panel and comes with 150 MB internal storage capacity. The mid range handset is embedded with a USB port and a microSD card slot. Idea Cellular has made the phone affordable keeping the mid-class as their target audience.

Idea’s previous two smartphones – Blade and D-280 witnessed high sales because of its multitasking features and a variety of pre-loaded applications. The connectivity features include wi-fi, bluetooth and GPRS. The User Interface promises the phone to offer fast access to various social networking sites and search engines.
The company has come up with an introductory offer for their buyers. New data services have been introduced for both prepaid and postpaid consumers. The company offers Idea TV, 2GB of data per month and 10 minutes free talk time everyday, all free for 3 months at a plan of Rs. 259.
