Apple MobileMe Application Disappoints Users!

Apple MobileMe

The launch of Apple iPhone 3G has been received with overwhelming joy and support. However, that has begun to change, as more and more users are reporting that the MobileMe feature in the iPhone 3G has been out of service and many users haven’t been able to access their e-mails for as long as four days.

However, Apple has clarified that the amount of users who couldn’t get access to Mobile Me is just 1% of the total iPhone 3G users. Still, it has apologized to Apple iPhone 3G fans base and has assured of corrective measures. Apple has also announced that due to the inconvenience caused to the consumers, it has decided to extend the Mobile Me subscription for 30 days, absolutely free of cost.

According to Apple’s Bill Evans, “Although core services such as Mail, iDisk, Sync, Back to My PC, and Gallery went relatively smoothly, the new MobileMe web applications http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/web_application had lots of problems initially. Fortunately, we have worked through those problems and the web apps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathepsin_B are now up and running.”

It seems that with all the preparations for the new Apple iPhone 3G that had kept Apple busy, they somehow missed the point that with so many new users, the servers might get overloaded and might not be able to support such a massive influx.
