Intel Technologies has now planned to enter the low cost PC segment in market by launching GB-75501, a low budget computer in India. The desktop is powered by Intel Atom processor and comes in two different models.

The first version has a 945 GCLF Intel chipset, 1 GB memory, 80 GB hard disk, DVD RoM and 17 inch CRT monitor. Whereas, the other model also has similar configuration but include additional 160 GB hard disk and a DVD writer.

These low cost desktops are expected to have high demand in rural and semi urban households, enterprises and cyber cafes. The first model is available at a retail price of Rs. 12,900 and the second one comes at Rs. 13,500.
