HP Shows Off Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook At CES 2012!

Leading into CES 2012, HP had been teasing gadget freaks with teasers of its brand new Ultrabook. On the inaugural day of CES 2012, 10th January, HP finally unveiled The Envy 14 Spectre. With a swathe of Ultrabooks to be released this year, HP has made sure that Envy 14 Spectre stays doesn’t gets mixed up with other releases by giving it an amazing design and attractive looks.
HP Shows off Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook at CES 2012On the outside, Envy has pure Gorilla Glass covered lid with rubberised base, to provide stable grip. Envy 14 has dimensions of 12.87 inches x 8.7 inches x 0.79 inches, with the glowing HP Logo adding more to it’s visual brilliance. It has connectivity options of HDMI out, Ethernet, USB 3.0, and mini DisplayPort. Once you open the laptop you will be greeted by a glassy slab that doubles up as the wrist rest, a cool-to-touch surface to type on from. The touchpad offers multitouch functionality, that’s as good as any available in market. Loaded with Proximity sensor it lightens up the backlit keyboard whenever you are ready to type while dimming the same while you are relaxing or watching movies.

On the inside, Envy is powered by Intel Core i5-2467m 1.60GHz, has a screen 14-inch Radiance display encapsulating 1600 x 900p resolution, a healthy 128GB SSD drive and 4GB of RAM. Wireless connectivity options available are 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and WiDi. Value added features like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Beats Audio and two years subscription of Norton Anti-virus pack are provided.
