Google Chrome is a browser that is designed for all Internet users with the motto of making the whole web experience faster, safer as well a lot more easier. The design is kept minimal, but is arrayed with a fine touch of technology for both beginners as well as professionals. That is every thing is under one roof! You just have to type in the address bar and get suggestions for both search and web pages. Google Chrome was released for the very first time as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on September 2, in the year 2008. The open subject behind this tool is “Chromium” and the name Google Chrome comes from the graphical user interface frame, or (or what we call “chrome”), of web browsers.

EXTENTIONS: Not yet, but later. “We don’t have that in the beta today, but we definitely plan an extension API,” or application programming interface, Sundar Pichai, a Google vice president of product management, said at the Chrome launch event. “It is one of the things we will get to next.”

As far as the main user interfacer is concerned, it is decked with a lot of options like back, forward, refresh, bookmark, go, and cancel. So the Internet freaks can enjoy these extremely user friendly features with an ease! These options share a similarity with Safari, but if we will talk about the location of the settings. Then it shares its resemblance with Internet Explorer starting with version 7, even the design of the window is based on Windows Vista. Chrome is also furnished with “Gears” that are responsible for adding features for web developers especially those are related with the building of web applications. And if you are annoyed with those Pop up windows, then in Chrome, these “are scoped to the tab they came from” and will never appear outside the tab until and unless you don’t drag them out!
