Asus G53SW, G73SW, N53SV and N73SV, Gamers’ Machines, Launched

Asus has launched four gaming notebook models that runs on Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors. The four notebooks G53SW, G73SW, N53SV and N73SV will expand the range of Asus’ gaming notebooks.

The G53SW will feature a 15.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolutions. It is based on Intel’s Sandy Bridge platform, powered by a 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor. The graphics will be handled by NVidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory. It also has blu-ray drive and DVD writer with 640GB hard drive, and 6GB of RAM. For connectivity it has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/b, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB 3.0 port. This notebook will cost you $1,300.

Asus G73SW will have a quad-core 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM. Its screen display is 17.3-inch with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution. It is also powered by the Intel Sandy Bridge processor and NVidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory for all the graphic requirements. It features a twin 500GB Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drives and an additional 4GB flash memory. A blu-ray drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/b, Bluetooth, 8GB DDR3 memory, HDMI and USB 3.0 port are some more features. It is expected to cost somewhere around $2,510 to $2,700.

N53SV comes with a 15.6 inches display. It runs on the 2 GHz i7-2630QM processor. It will be available in three different models, the top-end variant will have a resolution of 1920×1080. The graphics will be powered by GeForce’s GT 540M with 1GB of RAM . There are choice on the hard drive space and RAM – 500GB and 640GB Hard Drive and 4GB to 8GB of RAM. It also has HDMI and USB 3.0 port. The N53SV is priced at $1,200.

The Asus N73SV has a 17.3 inches screen size and runs on the 2 GHz i7-2630QM processor based on Intel’s Sandy Bridge platform. GeForce’s GT 540M with 1GB of RAM will power the graphics. N73SV has the same resolution, HDMI and USB 3.0 port as N53SV but comes with 6GB of RAM and two 640GB Hard Drives. This notebook will come for $1,700.

The expected arrival of these four gaming notebooks is January next year. They are definitely making an appearance at Asus’s CES event. For more details on price, specs and release date, stay tuned.
