Vodafone Will Soon Release “Android-based HTC Magic” Smartphone!


HTC is on a roll. The company is frequently releasing amazing gizmos one after the another. Now HTC has made an announcement to come up with world’s second Android powered smartphone called the Magic at MWC.

Patrick Chomet, Global Director of Terminals at Vodafone, said “Delivering an unbeatable mobile Internet experience for our customers is a priority for Vodafone, so we are very excited to be introducing our first Android-powered smartphone in the spring.”

Features Of Smartphone:

  • A 3.2 inch touch screen display.
  • Magic will be available in a tablet-shaped design sans a slide-out keyboard.
  • Virtual keyboard.
  • A trackball for effortless navigation.
  • A 3.2 mega pixel camera.
  • 7.2Mbps HSDPA-based 3G data access.
  • A suite comprising of supported email providers.
  • Supports numerous Google applications such as YouTube, Maps and Search.

It will be available through Vodafone in the UK, Spain, Germany, France (SFR) and non-exclusively through Vodafone in Italy! No words on the pricing yet…
