Viewsonic has developed two latest LCD screens, the VA1918wm and VA1928wm Green LCDs.
The two ViewSonics monitors incorporate award-winning technology and provides high-quality performance and clear and crisp images, vibrant colors, fast response time and sharpness, and it also meets the standards for energy savings and green initiatives, including EnergyStar, RoHS, TCO’03 and EPEAT Silver certification.
The VA1918wm is priced at Rs 10,500 and VA1928wm will cost Rs 10,700, and both of the items are backed by a three-year limited warranty. Both displays are Windows Vista Basic Certified, and include a thin-bezel design, built-in speakers, a VESA mount for easy wall mounting setup, integrated power supply and a cable management system.
The items are targeted for Government and Public offices, and also for educational institutions with an objective and effort to encourage the “Go Green program.”

The 16:10 aspect ratio of the VA1918wm and VA1928wm products also allows users dual-page viewing. Both the products come with ECO mode which is based on the ‘Green LCD’ concept. In addition, ECO mode also provides visual ergonomic benefits for prolonged display usage during use of general computer applications.
