Google Announces Google Sync For iPhone

Google has announced that Google Sync, their new service will now work with iPhone as well. Microsoft says that Google has licensed their Exchange ActiveSync protocol, which Google Sync is based on.
This service allows OTA syncing of Google Calender events as well as Gmail contacts for the Blackberry. But now users can enjoy these features for their iPhones as well. And it’s free! So if you have a Google account with you, you can set up these service in the ActiveSync and Exchange preferences on your iPhone. The feature will also work brilliantly with both first generation iPhones and iPhone 3Gs, but you will need to install firmware v2.2. Read more

Sling Media Inc. is developing a version of SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone. This version is specially being developed for the iTunes store at this year’s MacWorld. Sling Media will also deliver Apple a version of SlingPlayer Mobile for the iPhone to get certification in Q1.

A new application has launched to allow iPhone users to view and read comics in PDF, CBR, CBZ, ZIP files as well as new ZAVE format on their phone.
A specific application known as Comics optimizer is now available for Mac OS and Windows, which has been designed to transfer all your files to the handset. The application will be sold on Apple’s iTunes Application Store at an introductory price of Rs. 190.75.
The intuitive navigation of the entire digital comic will make the comic book even more interesting for the readers.
