Sony Ericsson Unveils Walkman Series Phone in India- W205 and W705

Sony Ericsson, a few days ago, rolled out its latest edition of Walkman series mobile phones in India – W205 and W705.

The W205 features include:

• Slider phone
• MP3 with playlist function
• FM radio with RDS support, TrackID, and a torch functionality.
• 1.3 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom and video recording option
• 1.8-inch 128 x 160 pixel TFT display
• Weighs 96 grams
• 5MB internal memory (expandable up to 2GB with Memory Stick M2 cards)
• Supports GSM/GPRS/850/1900

This handset comes in Ambient Black color.

The W705 features include:

• 2.4-inch 320 x 240 TFT display
• 3.2 megapixel camera
• 120MB of onboard storage and 4GB storage capacity.
• Supports Walkman 3.0 version, which has a SensMe and Shake Control.
• Applications - TrackID, MusicDj, VideoDj, PhotoDj and Location services.
• Wi-Fi and 3G enabled.
• Preloaded games like Guitar Hero Tour, NitroStreet, Bowling, Bubble Town and Sudoku.
• PlayNow arena online mobile content store.
• Built-in accelerometer supported by Mobile Sensor API

The W705 is available in two color options Silver and Red and has a chrome lining. It is currently priced at Rs 17,786.
