Kodak Launches Two New Digital Photo Frames with enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity

Kodak has recently launched two new models with Wi-Fi Capabilities in its line of digital photo frames. The two new Digital Photo Frames– the Easy Share W820 features an 8-inch display while the W1020 features a 10-inch display screen size, and they are priced at Rs.10,415 and Rs.11,935 respectively. A new feature to the digital photo frames is the introduction of the Quick Touch Border. This makes the frame easier to control than before, being touch-sensitive for simple operation while leaving the screen fingerprint-free.

Kodak wireless enabled frames and can now be connected to the Internet via a home Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connectivity of these frames has also been enhanced from previous frames, and users can now access Kodak Gallery, FrameChannel and Flickr for additional photo-sharing options directly from their frame. Company sources stated that the two DPFs provides easy “access to the latest news, weather, sports and it also automatically receive pictures from Gallery members right on your frame with the Picture Mail feature.”

The W1020 and W820 both offer a high-resolution 800 x 480, 16:9 aspect ratio digital display in a wide-screen format. The frames utilize the Kodak Color Science technology to help boost the color and skin tones in the images. Other features include a media player for music and videos and the frames are also equipped with 512MB of internal user memory with USB connectivity for hooking them up to a PC for file transfer. The 512 Mb will be able to store up to 4000 pictures. Enthusiastic photographers and snap happy users can add more pictures via the two memory card slots, both frames also accommodate the use of CF, SD, MMC, XD and MS external memory cards.
