HTC has announced the launch of the HTC S740. This new gorgeous HTC handset is designed in such a way that it provides the user with the comfort of a normal 12-key phone design and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The HTCH S740 is slated to be launched in September 2008, but there hasn’t been any mention of price yet.

The HTC S740 features a 2.4 inch QVGA display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and 65k colors, but unfortunately, it isn’t a touch screen, which is strange for HTC as most of its phones are touch screen enabled.
