Gmail Storage Capacity Is ‘Infinity Plus One’

Whenever you enter Gmail home page you find that it says something like Gmail storage 2759.616526 and still counting. Not for long. Very soon Gmail users will be blessed with infinity plus one storage size, a report by Bbspot informs.

Greg Tomkins a Google engineer mastered this idea. He says, I was out in the yard when my kids ran up to me yelling at each other. My son said to my daughter, ‘I hate you to infinity.’ She replied, ‘I hate you to infinity plus one. And right then I knew I had the solution to competing with unlimited storage. Tomkins informs that they would make use of RAID technologies which allows storage of e-mail copies in a parallel universe as well. This way a user would be assured of e-mail recovery if their servers crash.

Recently Yahoo! announced that they would be giving unlimited storage to their Yahoo! Mail users. Now Yahoo! will have to think of something better and more innovative to match upto Gmail.

Never having to delete a single mail definitely seems too good to be true.
