The Desirable HTC Desire Z and HD in India in January

The Indian phone market is going to get two new HTC mobile phones in January. HTC is launching the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z this month in India. Anyone who has used HTC smartphones or even the ones who haven’t will like these handsets.

The HTC Desire Z gives its users the best of both touchscreen and keyboard worlds. It has a 3.7 inch touch screen for a convenient web browsing and video playback while for messaging users can slide open the keyboard (QWERTY) and type comfortably. Desire Z features the HTC Sense, and now it is online. You can use the HTCSense.com to locate your phone, forward calls to another number or lock and erase data remotely.

It also features HD video recording and a 5 MP camera with auto focus, flash, face detection, geotagging and more. For connectivity there are GPRS, 3G, EDGE, Blutooth and Wi-fi. It plays aac, amr, ogg, m4a, mid, mp3, wav, and wma audio formats while the supported video formats are 3gp, 3g2, mp4 and wmv. Desire Z’s platform is the Android 2.2 Froyo and 800 MHz processor powers it. It has a 512 RAM, 1.5 internal storage which is expandable using microSD card. This phone has a 1300 mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery for up to 9.45 hours of talk time and 430 hours of standby. Other notable features are:

The HTC Desire HD features a cool 4.3-inch display with Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual surround sound so all your visual and sound may be exceptionally viewed and heard. It also has the HTCSense experience and HD video recording while the camera fitted here is of 8 MP. Processor that runs this phone is the same as with Desire Z, so is the internal storage but Desire HD has 768 RAM. Its battery is 1230 mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion. Desire HD does not have a keyboard.



The Desire Z is expected to be priced around Rs. 32,000 while the Desire HD is set to be priced around Rs. 25,000. So, be it Z or HD both these HTC phones will appeal to be surely desirable to its users. Good looks with loads of cool and unique features, check them out.
