Apple has released Safari 4, the next version of its web browser at the Worldwide Developers Conference, 2009. The newly launched web browser is meant for Mac and Windows users. It is said that Safari runs 50 percent faster in 64-bit systems.

Apple released Safari with 150 new features back in the month of February. The new browser has come in time just following the launch of the two new browsers Google Chrome 2.0 and Opera 10 Beta. The Microsoft’s I.E. 8 that has failed the Acid 3 tests is also in the market and Mozilla’s Firefox 3.5 RC version is expected to be launched soon.

The company is giving Nitro JavaScript engine all the credit for Safari 4′s browsing speed and for getting it 100/100 in Acid 3 tests. The new browser has “crash resistance” feature that is similar to Google Chrome’s threaded processes. In case your one tab crashes, you can normally work on other tabs.
