After Acer announced Iconia Tab A200 last month, it was only a matter of time before it was launched to public. We now have details that says Acer Iconia Tab A200 will be launched in the United States of America on 15th January.
Acer stands by its previous announcement that Iconia A200 will be packed with revolutionary NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual core 1GHz Processor chip. Iconia A200 will be operating on Honeycomb v3.2 OS, with free ICS upgrade to be provided after a month of product release. At the moment, 8GB and 16GB will be launched, with both carrying a microSD memory card slot to upgrade memory. Inbuilt UI known as Acer Ring improves on multitasking feature, that was available in previous Acer Tablets as well. It sports an enchanting 10.1-inch multi touch screen, that offers display resolution of 1280×800. Iconia A200 has only one 2MP front facing camera, perfect for web chatting or self-portraits, also loaded are features like Screenshot, that allows quick capture of web images,Google Maps,etc and Acer SocialJogger that combines Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites updates together. Other features included are USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi. It also boasts of a 3260mAh batteries providing 8 hours of usage with single charge.

Both variants of Acer Iconia Tab A200 are affordably priced with 16GB priced at USD $349.99 (approx. INR 18,452) while 8GB variant of Acer Iconia Tab A200 is tagged at USD $329.99 (approx. INR 17,397). Scheduled to go on the floor come 15th January, Acer Iconia Tab A200 will be made available in Titanium Gray and Metallic Red.
